Guess the rent of this 3

This week we're headed to Tobin Hill, the neighborhood not far from downtown and the St. Mary's Strip.
More people have been looking to move to San Antonio in 2022. (Especially from Austin!) Home prices rise as houses stay on the market longer and San Antonio rents aren't dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let's guess the rent.
The home near Denver Heights from last week might have been a little to noisy for some being right off I-37. This week's three-bedroom home in the historic Tobin Hill neighborhood is at 513 E. Woodlawn Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212, right off the St. Mary's Strip. You might not have a highway overlooking your backyard, but you will be near some popular nightlife spots.
You will be near places like Tycoon Flats, Faust Tavern, and NOLA Brunch & Beignets. The selling point on this 1,084-sqaure-foot home for rent might just be the backyard, which has covered patio space made for entertaining guests.
But with all these add-ons and being so close to The Strip, how much will it cost per month to live here?
Let's take a look.
The living room opens up into the kitchen.
As always, we try to start in the communal spaces of a home like the living room. I'm not sure if this area was always an open concept, but it is now with the kitchen looking into the living room.
The kitchen comes with recess3ed lighting and stainless steel appliances.
The kitchen looks to have plenty of space but the listing didn't have photos of a dining area except for these seats at the kitchen bar. That doesn't mean there isn't a dining area. You will get stainless steel appliances with the home.
From this angle you can get a look at the size of the kitchen bar.
The kitchen comes with recess lighting and the area is laid out with tile floors.
The bathroom comes tile, and a standard tub and shower combo.
It's a fairly standard restroom. The home comes with two full bathrooms and another in the main bedroom, according to the listing.
The bedroom looks like it can fit a queen size bed. I would open the blinds more.
This photo of the bedroom is a little dark but blinds are probably closed given the camera is pointed directly at the window. It could probably fit a king size bed.
The backyard patio is covered and comes with a separate pergola for guests.
Now we finish at the backyard. The covered patio has a couch area with a TV and entertainment stand if you plan on having an outdoor watch party. The cement patio continues over to another seating area under a separate pergola.
So how much will you pay for this home per month? The Craigslist post says it will cost $2,325 per month. The home comes fully furnished and there is a $65 application fee. The median rent for a three-bedroom home or apartment in the area is $2,495, according to Zumper.
